Managing the out-of-balance moments... | Barbara Alexander

To be able to manage the out of balance moments of our lives is a skill that everyone can use!

Once we understand that we are always creating, you can learn how to support yourself when those “out of left field” things come around in your life.

I was listening to a CD about energy and the Law of Attraction today and a new light went on about the what we experience in our everyday lives. I see it as a constant alignment of energy (good and bad), we are always creating with our thoughts and feelings, we are a constant-creation-of-vibration so to speak!

Recently I have been talking to several women who, like all of us from time to time, have found themselves caught up in something that has taken them off balance and into discomfort. We have all had the experience where life is going along smoothly until (You can fill in the blank) happens and then we find ourselves completely off kilter!

What do you usually do in those moments? You probably focus on the problem, right? Your mind races to come up with possible solutions, you check in with your family or friends about the problem, you worry about the problem… but all along – what are you also doing? Because thought is energy (vibration), and since we are always a constant-creation-of-vibration, we are just compounding the discomfort by expanding the vibration of that problem.

So, here is the key to managing those out-of-balance moments…

The vibration of a question and the vibration of a answer are two different vibrations. The vibration of a problem and the vibration of a solution are two different vibrations. You cannot be in the vibration of an answer or a solution when you are expanding the vibration of the problem.

For years I have been noticing a pattern in the experiences of women who come to my retreats at Epona Ridge. It is wonderful to see the lightness expanding and the bright shining spirit that becomes empowered within. Once we are able to shift away from our own, and sometimes patterned, defiance of the solution due to a negative focus, we will naturally find a the path back to peace within ourselves. Once that happens, solutions to (fill in the blank again) begin to emerge.

The key is to create the vibration within where the resistance is able to fall away so you can allow the solutions to become evident. Once we stop asking the question or “beating the drum of the problem,” in the absence of that vibration, the solution can reveal itself to you and you will feel the relief of it the moment you REALLY let go.

Abraham-Hicks shared; “When you can make peace with your problem by just letting it sit where it is, the solution must show up. BUT if you keep examining the problem, talking about the problem, measuring the problem, speaking of the problem, you hold yourself in defiance to the solution that would be there if you weren’t doing that.”

How can you create a space and a practice to allow resistance to fall away from your vibration so that you too can experience the relief and thrill as the solutions naturally present themselves?
